Africa-Press – Cape verde. The deputy of the Movement for Democracy (MpD), Manuel Moura, was shot this Saturday night, during an alleged robbery, in the Terra Branca area, Cidade da Praia.
According to information gathered by Inforpress from a police source, the deputy elected by the constituency of Santiago Sul was shot in the face during a robbery, with a handmade weapon (Boca Bedju).
According to the same source, at the University Hospital Dr. Agostinho Neto (HUAN), in Praia, where the victim was taken, could see a strong presence of MpD deputies, members of the Government and also the President of the National Assembly, Austelino Correia.
