Prime Minister of Sao Tome and Principe defends in Cabo Verde a “real CPLP”

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Prime Minister of Sao Tome and Principe, Jorge Lopes Bom Jesus, defended this Sunday in Cabo Verde a “real” Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP) of people who cross paths and find solutions.

The Prime Minister made these statements during a meeting with the Sao Tome and Principe community residing in the City of Praia, as part of his three-day visit to Cabo Verde, at the invitation of his Cabo Verdean counterpart, Ulisses Correia e Silva.

“On our mission here in Cabo Verde we will hold a joint Committee. The two countries delegations will meet and it is another opportunity for us to relaunch our cooperation, to be able to identify new areas, to find strategies, mechanisms and ways to solve the problems of our fellow citizens,” he said.

Jorge Bom Jesus stressed that the CPLP of the people is wanted and, therefore, Sao Tome and Principe signed last year the mobility agreement, with the prospect that more than one CPLP of agreements, diplomacy, institutions, the organization is, in fact, real of entrepreneurs, artists, youth and people who cross paths and who find solutions and are part of the solutions.
