The municipality of Mosteiros chose the locality of Pai António, in the highlands, as a rural tourist village, and will benefit from a series of interventions in terms of housing and accessibility to improve and transform the community into a place of tourist interest.
According to Fábio Vieira, president of the municipality, the projects foresee intervention in terms of urbanization, improvement of accessibility and interventions in some houses to accommodate tourists, noting that they were not accounted for because the council does not have the amount to be made available for the implementation of actions in the frame of rural tourist villages.
