Africa-Press – Cape verde. The national deputy and pre-candidate for president of the Movement for Democracy (MpD), Orlando Dias, promotes, this Sunday, 17, a meeting with party militants, on the island of Sal, with a view to socializing his candidacy.
The meeting, according to a press release, will take place at 4:00 pm, at the Santa Maria Municipal Market.
With the slogan “Rescue the MpD, return the party to the militants”, Orlando Dias has been promoting several meetings and contacts with MpD militants, in the country and in the Diaspora.
As he says, “so far, there has been good adherence to the purposes of the candidacy”.
Orlando Dias is, to this date, the only one to express interest in the leadership of the MpD, in the direct ones that will precede the party’s Convention, in the first quarter of 2023.
