According to the coordinator of the Municipal firefighter Department of Sal, Alberto Gomes, the alert was given on Saturday around 2 pm, so the means for the site were activated.
According to the same source, two more friends, who tried to help him, but could not, having escaped the fury of the sea in that region, known as “Altar”, accompanied the missing young man.
Alberto Gomes assured Inforpress that the searches continue this Wednesday, with several underwater searches having been carried out, involving divers, also a dismounted search along the slope, by military personnel, firefighters, National Police and Maritime Police.
