Africa-Press – Cape verde. The management instruments, budget and activity plan for the 2023 economic year of the municipality of Santa Catarina do Fogo, are analyzed on Friday, 23rd, by the municipal elected officials.
After last year the management instruments “failed” twice with an unfavorable vote by one of the elected members of the Movement for Democracy (MpD), which forced the autarchy to operate in the regime of twelfth, there is on the part of the citizens “ some anxiety” for the ordinary session of the Municipal Assembly on Friday, 23.
The mayor of Santa Catarina do Fogo, Alberto Nunes, told Inforpress that the budget and plan of activities for the financial year of 2023 are two instruments of “capital importance” for the municipality and that they are in line with the program of the Government and aligned with the State Budget and other instruments at the national level, for 2023.
“These are two documents drawn up in accordance with the needs of the municipality and which cover all sectors and localities”, said the mayor, noting that “it is not possible to solve all the needs of the municipality in just one year”, but that this budget will “solve many problems and demands” of citizens.
