Africa-Press – Cape verde. The town of Achada Lém, in the interior of Santa Catarina (Santiago), hosts this Sunday, 10th, a Health Fair with specialists from different areas of community services.
The initiative is from the local association “Pro-Achada Lém” and has a partnership with the Santa Catarina City Council, the Health Department, the Red Cross and the National Institute of Public Health.
According to the organization’s press release, the fair that takes place between 10 am and 5 pm today brings together health professionals from Achada Lém and their guests, specialists from different services and professional areas.
In service of the community, they will carry out medical and specialty consultations, namely, Urology for men aged 40 or over, Gynecology, Pediatrics, among others, including the vaccine against covid-19.
The event also features lectures and demonstrations of basic life support for the entire community and a balance and approach session at the Achada Lém Development Forum.

It should be noted that this Health Fair is one of the parallel activities to the Achada Lém Development Forum, which Pro-Achada Lém intends to hold on the 16th of July.
