Africa-Press – Cape verde. As part of the program to commemorate the 106th anniversary of the municipality of Tarrafal, the City Council of Tarrafal has scheduled for today, Friday the 21st, a series of activities that will take place throughout the day.
For today and still framed in the activities promoted by the council of Tarrafalense in celebration of the 106 years of that municipality, the council has scheduled a set of activities that start this morning and last until the end of the day.
In the morning, the city council team, in partnership with the delegation of the Ministry of Education, held a ceremony at the Chão Bom Secondary School to recognize the best students from the Tarrafal School Group I.
Then followed another ceremony held at Tarrafal Secondary School, in recognition of the best students of School Grouping II.
The City Council also visited the “Pedreira Minsynergy” project in Rubom Roqui.
Protocol with Emprofac
In the afternoon, at 3pm, the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Municipality of Tarrafal and Emprofac will take place at the Graciosa Centre.
To close the day of activities, the regional football champion, Grupo Desportivo Varandinha do Tarrafal, will be received in the main hall of the Paços do Concelho.
The prize will be awarded to the regional champion followed by a dinner/get-together.
