Santo Antão: Local Network for Sustainable and Inclusive Tourism sees “significant increase” in tourists “in the near future”

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Local Network for Sustainable and Inclusive Tourism of Santo Antão (Raízes) foresees “in the near future” a “significant increase in the number of tourists” on this island, with the implementation of the mapping and signaling project of the side paths.

Raízes, through a note published on its page on the facebook social network, says it is “certain” that this Government project, which is already being implemented in Santo Antão, will be “an enormous contribution to the promotion of island in the best nature tourism markets”, contributing to the increase in the tourist flow.

“We are sure that this will be a huge contribution to promoting Santo Antão in the best tourism of nature markets, which will lead to a significant increase in the number of tourists in the near future”, noted Raízes, praising the importance of this investment for this region.

The works are being carried out by a consortium, which includes the Association for the Defense of the Heritage of Mértola, Portugal, and the company’s PATH – Portugal Active Tourism in Holidays and Letras Encantadas Estudos e Projeto.
