Africa-Press – Cape verde. The start of official handball competitions in Santo Antão takes place on Saturday, 15th, and features four teams from across the island.
Superstars (Ribeira Grande), from Madrugs and Marítimo (Porto Novo) and from Vitória (Paul) will compete in the competition starting on Saturday.
The opening tournament and the regional championship are the main official competitions that are part of the handball calendar in Santo Antão, which starts this Saturday, 15th, with the opening tournament for men’s seniors.
In this first round of the opening tournament, which takes place in the multipurpose park in Berlin, in the city of Porto Novo, the Superstars team, defending champions, will play Madrugs and Marítimo face Vitória.
The calendar for this season also includes senior female competitions, whose start date has not yet been announced.
