Africa-Press – Cape verde. Eighty-two tourist routes on the island of Santo Antão will soon be publicized through specialized virtual communities on trekking and trail running. Routes will be signposted until May.
The itineraries already identified will be signposted and mapped within the scope of the project on signposting the side paths on the island of Santo Antão, which will focus on identifying the historical, ethnographic and natural heritage of existing communities and the provision of services.
The project, according to Inforpress, is being implemented by a consortium, which includes the Association for the Defense of the Heritage of Mértola, Portugal, and the companies PATH – Portugal Active Tourism in Holidays and Letras Encantadas Estudos e Projectos.
The start of the digital dissemination of the routes is expected for May.
