Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Cultural Center of Mindelo hosts this Friday, April 1st, the presentation of the book “A Grua e a Musa de Mãos Dadas” with gathers the reflections of the former President of the Republic, Jorge Carlos Fonseca.
After the launch in September 2021, in the City of Praia, now it’s the Mindelo’s turn to receive the book presentation “A Grua e a Musa de Mãos Dadas”, which according to the author, is a compilation of reflections, poetry and various notes related to Cabo Verde and its daily life.
The book, 200 pages, brings together 106 fragments were written after Jorge Carlos Fonseca completed his last literary work, “Em tempo de Natal e da Morna, a mosca viajou gratuitamente na executiva”, in 2020.
Jorge Carlos Fonseca, who was president of the Republic of Cabo Verde for two terms until 2021, has published a total of 22 books, including legal, literary and other works, having received some international literary awards.
