Africa-Press – Cape verde. The port management company (Enapor) inaugurates this Tuesday, the 6th, in Mindelo, the building that will house the port labor and engineering and maintenance services to improve the facilities and of workers’ safety.
According to a note from the Communication and Marketing Office sent to Inforpress, this project is considered of “great importance” for Enapor workers and, particularly, for Porto Grande, as it materializes in the improvement of the conditions of the facilities, with direct implication in the quality of life and safety of the stevedoring class and the company’s operational services.
“It was conceived with the ultimate aim of guaranteeing comfort, the best working conditions, the continuous development of our ports and the enhancement of the active role of our professionals”, assured the same source.
The opening act will take place on Tuesday morning, in Porto Grande of Mindelo, and the unveiling of the plaque will be presided over by the Minister of the Sea, Abraão Vicente.
Enapor is the general concessionaire of the State for ports, terminals, recreational nautical infrastructures and the Port Authority of Cabo Verde, being in charge of managing the nine ports in the country.
