The president of the Cape Verdean Society of Music (SCM), Solange Cesarovna, participates in the “ Mercado de las Artes Performativas del Atlántico Sur” (Maps 2022) that she makes in the Canary Islands, the point of the international meeting of the performing arts and the music of the South Atlantic, starting this Monday, July 4th .

This is an “extraordinary opportunity for better articulations and contacts for new contracts in the context of the defense of the copyright of Cape Verdean musicians, mainly in the digital sector”, considered the president of SCM.
The invitation to participate in MAPAS, 2022, in Las Palmas, came from the organization and UNISON, a Spanish digital rights management entity, with which SCM has a digital licensing agreement for Europe.
It should be remembered that MAPAS, in the Canary Islands, is the international meeting point for the performing arts and music of the South Atlantic, with a professional market that is now in its fifth edition.
