TACV confirms cancellation of six flights due to handling strike in Lisbon

Africa-Press – Cape verde. TACV confirmed the cancellation of six flights between Cape Verde and Lisbon (Portugal), and vice versa, due to the strike at the handling service in Lisbon, Portugal, provided by Portway. Canceled flights are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

“Given the strike by the Handling Portway operator at Lisbon airport, from August 26 to 28, Cabo Verde Airlines flights during this period will be canceled due to lack of ground handling,” the company said.

According to the same, all passengers will be informed about the protection flights via telephone and email addresses, so they should not appear at the airport.

The company also says that it is “making efforts to protect affected passengers”, as of Monday, August 29.

The affected flights are:

– Praia- Lisbon – August 26

– Lisbon – Sal – August 26

– Sal – Lisbon – August 27

– Lisbon – Praia – August 27

– Praia – Lisbon – August 28

– Lisbon – São Vicente – August 28
