Africa-Press – Cape verde. The municipality of Tarrafal de Santiago hosts, until the 28th of July, a fair of “Rabidantes/ Merchants”, to mark the Municipal Day dedicated to this class of workers.
“July 30th is marked in our municipality as the Day of Rabidantes / Merchants of Tarrafal, an ephemeris instituted by the Municipality of Tarrafal, on the initiative of the Autonomous Service of the Municipal Market”, explains the municipality.
In this sense, the Municipality of Tarrafal, through the Department of Local Economy, Innovation and Rural Development, through the Autonomous Service of the Tarrafal Market, has been promoting, since yesterday, a fair of “Rabidantes / Merchants”, with various products, to boost the local economy, especially at a time of vacation when many immigrants are visiting the county.
The fair lasts until the 28th of July, in front of the Tarrafal Municipal Market.
