Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cape Verdean internationals Nicalas Fernandes (-63kg) and Domenyck Lopes (-58kg) represent Cape Verde at the Taekwondo World Championship, which runs from the 12th to the 20th of this month in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Held at the “Centro Aquático Metropolitano” in Guadalajara, the world championship of the modality has a competition of world champions, Olympic champions and Pan American and European medalists who give life to this edition.
The organization expects a high level of competition during the tournament, which involves 1,200 taekwondists, thus setting an all-time record for participants.
Nicalas Fernandes is an Olympic Solidarity (SO) scholarship holder for Paris’2024.
