Africa-Press – Côte d’Ivoire. Entente Sportive du Bafing and Union Sportive des Clubs (USB) de Bassam are the two clubs relegated to league 2 at the end of the 30th and last day of league 1 of Côte d’ Ivoire, disputed on weekends.
These two clubs finished last in this phase. ES Bafing (29 pts) came in 15th position when USC Bassam (25 pts) was the red lantern. During the last day, ES Bafing was held in check by AFAD du Plateau (0-0) and USC Bassam was beaten (0-3) by the Société Omnisports de l’Armée (SOA).
In addition, the other 14 clubs have validated their tickets for the maintenance but the first four will play a one-way tournament at the end of which the club which will finish in first place will be crowned champion of the season.
However, the sportsmen evoke the probability for the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) to take this bet of the super league, given the constraints of the calendar.
