Africa-Press – Eritrea. The Central Region branch office of the Teachers Association of Eritrea has organized capacity upgrading training for 270 teachers with a view to developing the teaching-learning process.
Mr. Daniel Mengisteab, Head of the Association’s branch, said that the objective of the training, which focused on chemistry and Tigrigna language, was to upgrade teachers’ teaching methodologies in the respective subjects.
The training was attended by 84 secondary school chemistry teachers and 188 elementary and junior school Tigrigna language teachers.
Ms. Senait Okbamicael, Secretary of the Association, stated that the training is a continuation of the efforts the Association has been exerting to enhance teachers’ capacity and will have significant contribution to the development of the teaching-learning process.
