Africa-Press – Eritrea. Twenty-one patients have been diagnosed positive for COVID-19 in tests carried out today at Quarantine Centers and Testing Stations in the Central and Southern Regions.
Out of these, eight patients are from Quarantine Center (1) and Testing Stations in Maekel Ketema (3), Sembel (2), Gejeret (1), and Tsolot (1); Central Region. Thirteen patients are from Quarantine Centers in Mendefera (2), Adi Quala (9), Areza (1), and Adi-Keih (1); Southern Region.
On the other hand, seven patients who have been receiving medical treatment in hospitals in Central Region have recovered fully and have been discharged from these facilities.
The total number of recovered patients has accordingly increased to 6,922 while the number of deaths stands at 53.
The total number of confirmed cases in the country to date has increased to 7,133.
