Africa-Press – Eritrea. Crops belonging to families of martyrs and disadvantaged citizens have been harvested in Adi-Quala sub-zone in collaboration with education and agriculture offices, students, Government workers, as well as members of the Defense Forces.
Participants in the popular campaign said that the program was part of an ongoing initiative to support families of martyrs and disadvantaged citizens and that it carries deep meaning.
Indicating that, as a result of abundant rainfall, crops cultivated on about 20 thousand hectares of land in Adi-Quala sub-zone are in good condition, Mr. Kidanemariam Leake, representative of the Agriculture Office in the sub-zone, said that popular campaigns have been conducted on 262 hectares of land to ensure the harvest is collected on time.
