Africa-Press – Eritrea. The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare provided training on social welfare to its 10 members. The trainees were from the branches in all regions of the country.
Mr. Tesfu Solomon, Director of Children’s and Family Safety at the Ministry and coordinator of the program, said that the training covered community-based rehabilitation and development, children’s rights, accident prevention, as well as climate change and its consequences.
Speaking at the closing event of the training on 20 November, Ms. Leul Gebreab, Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, called on the trainees to practically apply the knowledge they gained from the training on the ground and to transfer it to their peers.
