Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Miss Eswatini 2022 pageants winner will walk home smiling with an education bursary and driving school course, among other prizes.
This was announced by the Miss Eswatini Director Musa Mantinto when unveiling the prizes to be won by the winning queen.
The queen, according to Mantinto will get a Limkokwing University of Creative Technology scholarship worth E60 000 and a driving school course worth E5 600.
The pageant’s runner-ups will not be left out as they will return home smiling with a number of vouchers and hampers.
“We are still in discussion with some companies and private sponsors that we will reveal as soon as we have confirmation,” Mantinto said.
The pageant director revealed that the top 10 voting lines would close on Monday and the top 10 will be announced on October 21.
The crowning of the queen will held at Sharma House, Ezulwini on October 26.
“Red carpet will start at 5pm and the event will commence at 6pm. We will have an after-party which is sponsored by Casa De Vino. Tickets cost E350 per person and will give you access to the after-party,” Mantinto said.
He added that the crowning night would be a night of fashion, glamour and entertainment.
“The theme for our final event is the ‘Bridgerton Experience’. We have enlisted the services of Robotboi and Bantu Knots as MCs.
“We have selected the two because of the vibe that they bring and we believe they will become more visible and it will attract more audiences to be part of the show. They will be confirmed when our budget is approved. Otherwise we have an alternative,” he said.
