Africa-Press – Eswatini. SICINISEKO Jele will be exhibiting his craft inspired by waste material at Eswatini Theatre Club on October 29.
The talented artist said he would be part of a business expo where he would be showcasing some of his art pieces.
Jele is a self-driven artist that is inspired by dreams, unconventional use of colour spectrum and expressing controversial topics about the universe. Waste is where the artist excels and his skill is majestic, one of his astonishing works is of bottle caps placed in a twirling geometrical spherical sort of magnetic field. “I am looking forward to the event as I will be showcasing all my relevant art pieces.”
“I am also excited as I will be engaging different people explaining my inspiration and on how I got to make my craft,” he said.
From the dusty streets of Manzini, the artist has participated in two group exhibition at Yebo art design, 2019. He was part of the group that attended the Johannesburg FNB international arts festival 2019 with Yebo art design.
He also featured on @aya.africa article of emerging young artists August 2021.
He said he was attached to re-using waste materials. “Recycling is, of course, something good. The best thing is not consuming too much. The biggest problem is unnecessary consumption because when we look around, everything is waste. Actually, my problem is with emotional waste, rather than zero waste. Objects people associate memories with.
It can be anything. I am trying to do some more work with these. This practice leads to recycling. It is both enjoyable and tiring. Art lovers can only expect art pieces that will leave them captivated,” he said.
