Africa-Press – Eswatini. Swaziland Liberation Movement (SWALIMO) Deputy Secretary General Gift Dlamini says King Mswati was not appointed by God to rule over the people of Eswatini.
Speaking outside the High Court premises during the trial of the pro-democracy Members of Parliament Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube, the pro-democracy activist said no man was ever appointed by God to rule over emaSwati.
“No person was ever appointed by God to be King over us as emaSwati but the ruling Dlamini royal house decided on who should come after King Sobhuza. Now the people are tired of dictatorship, they want an elected leader”, said the SWALIMO Deputy Secretary General.
