Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Taiwan Embassy and Taiwan Medical Mission continue to show love for the Kingdom of Eswatini.

The Taiwan Africa Vegetable Initiative has been taken to Maphalaleni Inkhundla, this is also where people were to provide clinical service medicine and daily health.

Taiwan set up tents at Lubhaceni Primary School, helping over 500 patients with different medical problems and medication.

Residents raved about the services they received, saying that they were so grateful.

“Today was a blessing in disguise, not only did we learn how to grow our own food but we further got free medical help,” said Cynthia Vilane from the area.

Another resident said they needed medical help because clinics were located in distant places around the area.

“Today was such a blessed day, we are grateful for the initiative by the Taiwan Government. We are forever indebted to them,” said Mavela Zibuko.

Meanwhile, the Principal of Lubhaceni Primary School Mphumelelo Ginindza said they were thankful to Taiwan for helping them.

“I want to thank the Taiwan Medical Mission as they have helped us in so many ways. We were able to get food and medical assistanceall in one day. I hope Emaswati will learn from the Taiwan people on how to take care of ourselves and each other,” he said.

Worth noting is that Taiwan bears the idea of Health For All to promote health care, and Taiwan will continue to help more and more emaSwati.

Clement Mamba who was grateful to the doctors from Taiwan as it is difficult for the residents to receive medical consultation, said the initiative was good and wished that more imiphakatsi can receive it. Another resident, Nomthandazo Simelane, thanked the MP and the mission for the work they have done for the communities and also encouraged Emaswati to take advantage of these services.
