Africa-Press – Eswatini. Incarcerated pro-democracy MP Bacede Mabuza wanted to empower women to start their businesses within his Constituency.

Busisiwe Simelane said the pro-democracy MP had bought a sewing machine for the women in Hosea Inkhundla and had bigger plans about them.

“He bought a sewing machine for us and he had planned to build a big structure where we could be able to operate our sewing businesses”,she said.

MP Bacede was arrested together with MP Mthandeni Dube after an order allegedly issued by King Mswati after calling for democratic reforms in Parliament.
