Africa-Press – Eswatini. The prestigious awards, formerly known as the Social Media Awards, have officially opened their voting lines for the 22 categories.
Nokwanda Sibandze, the Communications Officer of the organising team of the awards, SwaziBoy Entertainment, expressed her excitement about the awards. “We are currently in the voting stage. We have released voting codes for every nominee and voting has begun. This voting stage is the one that determines the winner. So we encourage everyone to vote for their favourite as much as they can. It is the deciding stage. To all nominees, we hope that they also vote for themselves. We will release more voting platforms,” she added.
Interested people can easily vote by sending an SMS, ‘ECA Code’ to 7355. The SMS is applicable on both local networks at E1.71 for each vote. “This year, people can also vote through Instacash by visiting www.swaziboyent.com. They can also use the bank card option at MojaTicket Whatsapp,” she added.
Sibandze emphasised that the 22 categories aim to shine a spotlight on the creative individuals in these various industries. She said the Eswatini Creators Awards represented the epitome of the creative arts in Eswatini. According to Sibandze, this platform celebrates excellence in the arts on social media, providing recognition for both seasoned and young creatives. She also hinted at new and exciting prizes for both nominees and voters, which will be unveiled in due time. She also highlighted the vibrant and dynamic nature of the social media landscape, which serves as a hub of activity for the creative community.
