Africa-Press – Eswatini. Moneni Pirates head coach Gcina Dlamini says today’s match against Young Buffaloes in the MTN Premier League is the one where they will record their first victory of the season.

The ‘Sea Robbers’ will face the army side at Mavuso Sports Centre, and the former Manzini Sea Birds mentor said they had done everything necessary to win this game. He added that they were working hard to turn the tables against the Mandla ‘Sitofu’ Dlamini-led men.

“Preparations are okay and we have an injury-free squad, although we will be short of one player in Mazwi Sihlongonyane, who has accumulated three yellow cards.

‘‘The objective is to get all three points. We are working hard to turn the tables, this is a must-win game,” he said.

The hub side have drawn their last five matches with the last come in a 1-all draw against Denver Sundowns.

Young Buffaloes Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sandile Gwebu said they would be very cautious in their approach since Moneni Pirates had been playing well but were failing to grind positive results.

“We won’t take them lightly they are a very good side that is currently going through a rough patches, that is normal in the game of football.

The league is open and we still have chance to be crowned champions come end of the season,” he said.

Gwebu praised his team for returning to their winning ways after starting slow at beginning of the season. He then confirmed that their new marquee signings in duo of Lucky ‘Roadblock’ Gamedze and Sandile ‘Magwegwe’ Mbingo would be available for selection.
