Africa-Press – Eswatini. Deloitte and Touche has been enlisted as best evaluated tenderer, which stands to be granted a tender for the provision of actuarial services.
This was after the company scored 96 per cent in terms of responsiveness during an evaluation undertaken in accordance with the Public Procurement Act of 2011.
This is contained in the intention to award a contract issued by the Eswatini Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA),
Chairman of the Sincephetelo Motor Vehicle Accidents Fund (SMVAF) Tender Board Bonginkhosi Mkhonta disclosed that the company could enter into a contract with government valued at E595 468.
In line with the Procurement Act, explained that a period of 10 working days would be allowed for the submission of an application for review prior to the eventual contract signing.
Decision
“The contract award decision does not constitute a contract,” reads the notice, which was issued on April 20.
Mkhonta announced that companies which had expressed interest in the job were NBC Eswatini (Swati), SNG South Africa (South Africa), ACT SERV (Kenyan) and RCL (Kenyan) who were all unsuccessful as they were not responsive because of technical issues, which led to them scoring less than 70 per cent.
According to the company website, Deloitte and Touche prides itself as a leading professional services firm in South Africa.
It forms part of the broader Deloitte Africa firm, which is a member of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL).
The South African firm has nine offices and has under its employ just under 3 000 people.
