Africa-Press – Eswatini. Sibongile Mazibuko, the President of the Ngwane National Liberatory Congress(NNLC) has been elected as the new Chairperson of the Political Parties Assembly(PPA).
The PPA is a collaboration of political parties working collectively to intensify the calls for democratic reforms in eSwatini.
Reached for comments,Mbongiseni Shabangu of the Swaziland Democratic Party(SWADEPA), the current Head of the PPA Secretariat confirmed the election of the NNLC President.
“We can confirm that the NNLC President was elected as the PPA Chairperson last week”, he said.
Sibongile Mazibuko, the newly elected PPA Chairperson said she would work for all Swazis without discriminating even those who are not members of political parties.
“I will work for all Swazis without discriminating those who are not members of political parties. We will engage Swazis on various issues to hear their views before the political dialogue”, said the PPA Chairperson.
