Africa-Press – Eswatini. Poetry Has a Heart back for second installment!
The highly anticipated Poetry Has a Heart 2.0 is set to light up Mbabane on August 2, 2025, bringing together the power of poetry and philanthropy for a night of artistic expression and heartfelt giving.
The exact venue has yet been confirmed but it will be held around Mbabane. Created by visionary poet and community advocate FleminQ born Thembumenzi Khulekani Mabuza, this event aims to celebrate the beauty of poetry while supporting those in need.
With a mission to use art for positive change, Poetry Has a Heart 2.0 will serve as both a creative gathering and a charitable initiative, uniting poets and community members for a noble cause.
“Poetry Has A Heart is back with a bang; it’s the second edition of giving back to the community,” FleminQ declared, clearly excited about the event’s return. The evening will feature incredible talent and a shared commitment to social good, thanks to the collaboration of partners such as the BAWSS Foundation, Ikleri Store, SoFresh Hub, and Tala Group.
The line-up for the event includes some of the brightest stars of the poetry world, including Ollie De Poet, M Age, Nashisa, Poet Smiso, and of course, FleminQ himself. While the venue is still to be confirmed, excitement is already building as poetry lovers and community-minded individuals prepare for an evening filled with inspiration, connection, and compassion. Entry to the event is priced at E50 or two packages of sanitary pads, emphasizing the event’s spirit of giving.
At the heart of Poetry Has a Heart is a profound commitment to giving back to the community that has supported the poetry scene. FleminQ passionately expressed:
“The inspiration behind this event is giving back to the community. As the poetry industry, we have been supported by so many people, both within the country and beyond. Giving back is the least we can do.”
This sense of gratitude and purpose drives FleminQ and his collaborators to create an event that resonates with the true spirit of community. For FleminQ, poetry is more than just an art form—it’s a healing tool.
“We are healers,” he emphasized. “We were born and raised to heal and to see smiles on people’s faces.”
With Poetry Has a Heart 2.0, FleminQ envisions fostering an even deeper connection between poets and their audience. His goal is to create a platform that not only celebrates creativity but also encourages community growth and unity.
“We want to create a space where poets feel inspired and connected to their audience,” he explained. “It’s about building a community that thrives on creativity and compassion.”
As Poetry Has a Heart 2.0 draws near, it’s clear that this event will be more than just a showcase of talent—it will be a celebration of giving, healing, and the power of words.
Mark your calendars for August 2, 2025, and prepare for a night that promises to inspire, uplift, and make a difference in the community.
