Africa-Press – Eswatini. Minister of Home Affairs, Her Royal Highness Princess Lindiwe, has proudly represented His Majesty King Mswati III at the Harmony Summit, a prestigious gathering held at Highgrove Gardens in the United Kingdom.

The summit was hosted by The King’s Foundation and was dedicated to the critical theme of sharing indigenous knowledge and exploring ways to live in harmony with nature—an initiative aligned with the vision of His Majesty King Charles III, the Royal Founding President of The King’s Foundation.

In collaboration with the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance and The Earth Elders, the Harmony Summit brought together a global network of elders, traditional leaders, practitioners, and institutions. The event served as a meaningful platform to listen, discuss, and exchange wisdom on sustainable living, while also fostering actionable commitments that enhance the relationship between humanity and the natural environment.

Held at Highgrove Gardens, the private residence of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, the summit provided a serene yet powerful setting for dialogue around environmental preservation and indigenous values.

HRH Princess Lindiwe expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in such a globally significant dialogue. She emphasized the essential role that indigenous knowledge systems play in shaping sustainable development and environmental stewardship.

“The wisdom of our ancestors has always guided us in living in balance with the natural world. This summit reaffirms that indigenous practices hold critical answers to many of the environmental challenges we face today,” she said.

The United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Eswatini share a long-standing relationship rooted in shared history, colonial heritage, and enduring diplomatic cooperation. Eswatini, as a former British protectorate, continues to maintain close ties with Britain through both bilateral engagement and shared values on global issues such as sustainability and cultural preservation.

Princess Lindiwe’s participation reaffirms Eswatini’s commitment to international dialogue and collaboration on environmental conservation, while also showcasing the value of traditional knowledge in addressing today’s global challenges.
