PM WELCOMES FRENCH AMBASSADOR, STRENGTHENS TIES

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini welcomed the French Ambassador to Eswatini and Mozambique, His Excellency Yann Pradeau, during a courtesy visit that underscored more than two decades of fruitful cooperation between the two nations.

Ambassador Pradeau was accompanied by Ms. Clémence Bessière, Head of Cooperation and Cultural Affairs. The visit served to reaffirm the longstanding partnership between the Republic of France and the Kingdom of Eswatini, which has flourished in key sectors including commerce, health, tourism, and education.

In his remarks, the Ambassador expressed France’s continued support for Eswatini, applauding the success of joint initiatives, particularly in education. He acknowledged the remarkable impact of scholarship programmes that have enabled many young emaSwati to pursue higher education in France.

The PM, in turn, conveyed Eswatini’s deep appreciation for France’s contributions and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to further strengthening this valuable partnership. He highlighted the positive outcomes that such collaborations have brought to the people of Eswatini.
