Africa-Press – Eswatini. The King’s Golf Cup is shaping up to be one of the most exciting sporting highlights of the year, with close to 80 golfers from outside Eswatini expected to descend on the King’s Golf Club this Friday.
This was confirmed by the Chairperson of the King’s Golf Cup, Sam “Styles” Richards, during an interview with this publication at the ongoing tournament. Richards revealed that the event has already moved past the pre-qualifiers and is currently at the PRO-AM stage, where numbers and interest have been highly encouraging.
“We have quite a good number the response is very good. We are very excited to see such strong participation, and the fact that we will be welcoming about 20 golfers from the SADC region and also have those from outside the SADC region hence we are expecting close 80 golfers from our neighboring countries makes this year’s edition truly special,” he said.
The King’s Golf Cup continues to attract regional attention, cementing its status as a major platform for both professional and amateur golfers to compete and network. With the build-up gaining momentum, organizers believe this year’s competition will not only boost local tourism and business but also enhance Eswatini’s reputation as a growing hub for regional golf.
As excitement builds towards Friday’s showcase, fans and participants alike are looking forward to a weekend of world-class golfing action, camaraderie, and unforgettable experiences on the greens.
