Africa-Press – Eswatini. A majority of the aspiring soldiers who made it through to the next stage during the Mhlambanyatsi Inkhundla army recruitment exercise yesterday said they want to serve the country.

They all expressed that they always wanted to be part of the army because they loved the country. Over 400 hopefuls took part in the exercise where only six (four males and two females) made it to the next stage.

Mhlambanyatsi Member of Parliament and House of Assembly speaker Petros Mavimbela said it was encouraging to see the youth coming in their numbers for the recruitment exercise.

“It was an impressive turnout and I want to encourage those who did not make it to the next stage not to give up.”Mavimbela said the participants were ready for the exercise.

There will be another opportunity in future where they can try again.”He said the exercise was a success.“I must say that we are all happy the exercise went well.“We hope all those who went through will do well in the next stage,” he said.
