FNB STRENGTHENS DIGITAL SAFETY CONVERSATIONS

Africa-Press – Eswatini. House on Fire today became a hub of dialogue, learning and forward-thinking leadership as FNB Eswatini hosted the Press Play Digital Awareness Initiative, led by Chief Executive Officer Thokozani Dlamini.

Addressing editors, journalists and key stakeholders, Dlamini set a confident and inclusive tone, disclosing FNB’s belief in the media as a vital partner in national development.

He commended the Eswatini Editors Forum for reviving the National Media Awards, describing journalism as a noble and indispensable profession that plays a central role in shaping an informed society.

The CEO highlighted that Press Play, launched in 2024, was intentionally designed as a trusted thought-leadership platform. Its purpose is to move beyond traditional media engagements and create space for open, robust conversations between FNB leadership and the media, conversations that ultimately benefit the people of Eswatini.

Dlamini noted that the 2026 edition of Press Play comes at a historic moment for the bank, following celebrations marking FNB Eswatini’s 30 years of service. He emphasized that the initiative would tackle critical issues affecting customers and communities, including the growing threat of digital and financial scams, while strengthening public awareness around safe banking in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

A major highlight of the address was the announcement that FNB Eswatini has once again been certified as a Top Employer for 2026, both locally and across Africa. This recognition reflects the bank’s sustained investment in people development, workplace excellence and long-term career pathways for its staff.

Dlamini pointed to internal success stories as proof of this commitment, citing the growth of leaders who joined the organisation as graduates and rose through the ranks. Such journeys demonstrate FNB’s focus on nurturing local talent and building a future-ready institution anchored in Eswatini.

Concluding his remarks, the CEO reaffirmed FNB’s commitment to delivering real value to the nation through innovation, transparency and partnerships that empower communities.
