Africa-Press – Eswatini. FNB Eswatini has been certified as a Top Employer in Eswatini and across Africa for 2026.
The announcement was made by FNB Eswatini Chief Executive Officer Thokozani “TK” Dlamini during the bank’s annual Press Play engagement held at House on Fire in Malkerns.
Dlamini said the recognition comes at a significant time for the bank, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary.
“The past few months have been historic and heartwarming as we celebrated our 30th birthday. We have also reflected on how we have told our HELP story, what is still to come, and our commitment to making a difference in the lives of our people – FNB Eswatini employees,” he said.
He added that the certification by the Top Employers Institute follows a similar achievement in 2025.
“I am proud to announce that we have once again been certified as a Top Employer in Eswatini and across Africa for 2026. While we continue working to make our business the best place to work in Eswatini and the region, it is exciting to see the work already done bearing fruit,” Dlamini said.
One of the bank’s key focus areas, he noted, is the development of strong talent pathways to enable employees to grow within the organisation.
“We want our people to see a future with FNB. One example is right here with us today – our Executive Head of Credit, Mr Mphetfo Tshabalala, who joined the FirstRand Group as a Graduate Trainee in 2016,” he said.
Dlamini also reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to delivering tangible value to the nation and its customers.
Speaking in siSwati, he said FNB Eswatini remains dedicated to driving positive change through initiatives that directly benefit emaSwati.
He revealed that in 2025, the bank returned more than E1.5 million to its customers through its Fuel Cash Back Rewards programme.
The initiative benefited over 35 000 customers, reflecting growth compared to 2024 figures.
“We are encouraged as a bank to introduce programmes like these for our customers, and we will continue exploring ways to make their lives easier because we know that help changes everything,” he said.
