Africa-Press – Eswatini. Priscilla Dlamini, the second winner in the ongoing and Maureen Sanitary Towels giveaway, has been awarded a year’s supply of sanitary towels, a gift she says will bring immense relief to the more than 20 young girls she supports in her Ezulwini household.
“I have a household of over 20 young girls which I feed and provide toiletries for here in Ezulwini,” Priscilla shared. “This win is a major relief, as I carry the responsibility of making sure their welfare is taken care of every month. Having a year’s supply of sanitary towels for them will ease that burden tremendously.”
While Priscilla was not able to attend the official handover, the sanitary towels were collected by the beneficiaries last week Friday, ensuring that the girls received the support without delay. The handover was a significant moment for the young girls, who now have assured access to an essential hygiene product for the next 12 months.
This generous initiative is part of a meaningful collaboration between Eswatini Positive News (EPN) and Maureen Sanitary Towels, aimed at supporting women and caregivers by giving away a year’s supply of sanitary towels to four deserving individuals. With Priscilla now named as the second recipient, two more winners are still to be announced in the coming weeks.
Maureen Sanitary Towels’ Nkosingiphile Silindza, expressed admiration for Priscilla’s commitment to her community: “Priscilla’s story is deeply moving. It reflects the strength and generosity that so many women in our country carry. We are honoured to be able to assist her and the young girls in her care.”
Tlalane Dlamini, Marketing Officer, added, “This campaign shines a light on real-life heroes those who give selflessly every day. Priscilla’s dedication to the girls she supports embodies exactly why this campaign was created. We are proud to stand with her.”
