Africa-Press – Eswatini. Eswatini Mobile proudly announced a sponsorship of E500 000 towards Nothando Hlophe’s “A New Dawn” Live Recording, set to take place on 7 June 2025 at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.
The launch event was hosted at Sibane Sami Hotel, with Mnqobi Tsabedze serving as programme director. The event began just before 6 p.m., opening with a prayer by Pastor Nkosinathi Mhlanga from Voice of the Church (VOC).

The star of the evening, Nothando Hlophe, arrived dressed in a striking pink gown, marking the beginning of the official proceedings. In attendance were fellow gospel artists Nothando Dlamini, as well as South African artists Jonny Vilakazi and Sli Zikhali, both of whom will be part of the upcoming live recording.
A pre-recorded video, produced by Tribe Studios, was screened during the launch. In it, Nothando shared reflections on her 15-year journey in the music industry—a journey she described as symbolic of a “new beginning, a new dawn, a new era.” She spoke about entering a season of growth, maturity, and fresh experiences, supported by a new team and a more refined sound.
Following the video, CEO of Eswatini Mobile Sydney Sichula, delivered a short but passionate speech expressing the company’s excitement to partner with Nothando. Tonight is more than an album launch—it’s a moment, a movement, and a message to the nation and the continent that Swati talent is bold, brilliant, and unstoppable. We’re proud not just to be sponsors, but believers in the extraordinary power of EmaSwati to shape the future,” he said, before presenting a replica cheque worth half a million.
Phindokuhle Sithole, speaking on behalf of Genesis Ekucaleni Media and Lokuhle Media Group, emphasized that A New Dawn is more than just a recording. “It is a divine collaboration—an inspired vision born from a desire to minister through music, uniting creative excellence with Kingdom purpose,” he explained.
“This joint venture between Genesis Ekucaleni and Lokuhle is anchored in faith, excellence, and unity. What we are witnessing is a legacy in the making—crafted with purpose and powered by collaboration. “He went on to appreciate the artists and the behind-the-scenes teams: “To our artists—your commitment, your anointing, and your hearts are the reason this project carries so much power. To our crews—thank you for building this vision brick by brick. And to our supporters—your belief fuels our faith. ”On June 7th, at Mavuso Trade Centre, we will witness something historic. A live recording not just filled with sound—but with purpose, light, and new beginnings. This is a new chapter for gospel music in our region. By God’s grace, it’s only the beginning.”
