Africa-Press – Eswatini. Athletics Eswatini President Zakhele Dlamini paid a motivational visit to the national athletics team training at Mavuso Sports Centre. The athletes have been intensively preparing under the guidance of Coach Sibusiso Matsenjwa, targeting top performances at the upcoming championships.

During his visit Dlamini expressed deep appreciation for the athletes’ dedication and commitment to representing Eswatini on the international stage. He highlighted the federation’s focus on elite performance and podium finishes, emphasizing that the comprehensive support and rigorous preparation provided leave no room for compromise.

“We have invested heavily in training facilities, coaching, and athlete welfare. Now, it’s time to translate all that effort into results. We expect medals. It’s our duty and pride to bring them home for Eswatini,” said Dlamini.

Team captain Mcebo Mkhaliphi responded on behalf of the athletes acknowledging the federation’s backing and the positive impact of training with Coach Matsenjwa. “We’re immensely grateful for the federation’s support. Training with Coach Sibusiso is going excellently, it’s an honor to learn from him. We’re fully prepared and promise to give absolutely everything for Eswatini at the championships,” he stated.

The national team’s focused preparation at Mavuso Sports Centre signals a renewed drive for international success.
