Africa-Press – Eswatini. Some police recruits got an opportunity to be awarded for excellence they displayed when they were trained on policing for the past two years.
The recruits were awarded on August 15, 2025 during the 22nd Police Day and Passing Out Parade Celebration, held at Matsapha Police Academy.
Marching with conviction at this year Police Day, Recruit Constable Nomfanelo Bhembe has been crowned Best in Squad 244.
Recruit Constable Mduduzi Simelane proved to be the driving force behind Squad 245’s cohesion and performance.
Recruit Constable Makhosazana Nxumalo stood out as Best in Squad 246.
The honours reaffirm Matsapha Police Academy’s mission to shape officers who are operationally ready and educationally empowered for the demands of modern policing. The academy’s programmes are fully accredited by Eswatini Higher Education Council (ESHEC), placing the academy at par with leading tertiary institutions in the country, offering a curriculum that blends academic excellence with practical readiness in police education.
His Majesty King Mswati III, addressing the police during the Police Day, advised the police to always do their work with dedication.
