‘CHOOSE STANDARD BANK’ CAMPAIGN REWARDS CUSTOMERS

Standard Bank Eswatini has rewarded customers across the country with exciting prizes through its Choose Standard Bank campaign, which promotes safer card usage while encouraging customers to actively use their bank cards during the festive season. The event was held on 29 December 2025.

The campaign, launched by Standard Bank Eswatini, rewards customers who choose secure card transactions over cash. It runs nationwide until 31 January and carries a total prize value of R850 000, with winners receiving lifestyle prizes, cash rewards, grocery support, and travel experiences.

Speaking on the success of the campaign, Nqoba Manana, Head of Products at Standard Bank, said customers responded positively by swapping cards and participating enthusiastically. He thanked all customers who took part, noting that the campaign achieved its objective of promoting safer banking habits.

Among the top prize winners were Mary Anne Sikhondze and Marina Henwood, who each won Smart TVs, while Vincent Way received a Samsung A16 smartphone. A range of audio and lifestyle prizes were also awarded, with Bongani Bhembe winning JBL Headphones, and Salim Chotubhai Meghani, Euan Collyer, and Wandile Dlamini taking home JBL Speakers.

Other winners included Khanyisile Matsenjwa, Wan-Li Chang, and Mbongeni Simelane, who received Field Bars, while Mbuso Mwali won a Powerbank. Phindile Gama and Sizwe Sibiya were also rewarded with Smartwatches.

One of the winners, Khanyisile Matsenjwa, expressed her excitement after receiving her prize, saying she had always wanted a Field Bar and was looking forward to using it during the festive season. She thanked Standard Bank for the opportunity.

Head of Brand & Marketing at Standard Bank Eswatini, Sanele Khumalo, said the Choose Standard Bank campaign is aimed at encouraging safer card usage, especially during the festive season when cash-related risks increase.

He explained that 12 winners are being rewarded with cash prizes, grocery support, and instant giveaways, with selected winners set to enjoy an all-expenses-paid trip to Cape Town with their partners from February.

Through the Choose Standard Bank campaign, Standard Bank Eswatini continues to reinforce its commitment to customer safety, innovation, and rewarding loyalty, making banking safer and more rewarding for its customers.
