Africa-Press – Eswatini. Former Mbabane Swallows midfielder Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu has signed a three-year long contract with Green Mamba .
The gifted midfielder has already started training with ‘Inyokeluhlazana’ after putting pen to paper on Monday upon the finalisation of the deal at the Correctional Services Headquarters.
It is understood that ‘ D4D’, who rejoined Mbabane Swallows from South African side Mbombela United last season, was out of contract with the red and white glamour side. The crafty midfielder has reunited with his former Swallows and Mbombela United teammate Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa, who was signed from Mbabane Highlanders.
Green Mamba Chief Executive Officer Mandla Sibiya confirmed that the player now belonged to them, but declined to reveal the contents of the contract.
“Yes, I can confirm that ‘D4D’ now belongs to us. However, I cannot reveal the contents of the contract as that is confidential information between the employer and employee,” he said. However a source within the green and white ensemble confided that the player penned a three year deal.
“The player has signed a three year contract after he was introduced to the team authorities and players on Monday afternoon.
The team is now waiting to get his clearance from his former team,” the source said.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the 2018/19 MTN Premier League champions will be adding two more signings in the next few weeks.
Tambuti exciting winger Wandile Simelane is also training with the team.
