Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Eswatini International Trade Fair 2025 is not only a showcase of business and culture, it is also proving to be a live demonstration of digital innovation.
Thanks to DeltaPay, visitors can now buy tickets and make payments directly through the official EITF app.
DeltaPay Chief Financial Officer Adam Hulse said the integration was proof that the Kingdom is ready for a fully digital economy.
“The Trade Fair is about showcasing innovation and building connections. By enabling payments on the EITF app, we are proving that Eswatini is ready for a fully digital economy. Our role is to provide the rails that make this possible, one payment at a time,” Hulse said.
DeltaPay’s journey has been rapid. From making its debut at the 2024 Trade Fair supporting food vendors, the fintech has since expanded to ticketing partnerships with MojaTickets, wallet interoperability with Instacash, and now powering the Trade Fair’s own digital platform.
Hulse noted that every step taken was about inclusion.
“From supporting vendors at stalls, to ticketing platforms, and now to the Trade Fair’s official app, DeltaPay is becoming part of the everyday financial journey for emaSwati,” he explained.
The process is designed to be simple: users select DeltaPay as their payment method at checkout, input their cellphone-linked wallet number, and approve the request instantly on the app.
As the Trade Fair continues under the theme “Digital Transformation 2.0, Creating Business Networks,” DeltaPay’s sub-theme “One Payment at a Time” is fast becoming more than a slogan. It’s a reflection of how Eswatini is steadily steering itself towards a cashless future.
