Africa-Press – Eswatini. Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has accused Commerce, Industry and Trade Minister Mancoba Khumalo of leaking Cabinet information.
This was during a heated discussion in the Cabinet Whatsap group about two(2) weeks ago, the discussion was triggered by the PM who posted a document accusing Minister Khumalo of leaking information but, other Ministers quickly warned him against accusing the Commerce Minister without substantive evidence.
Deputy Prime Minister Thulisile Dladla tried to calm the situation warning the PM against posting the document saying this might result to Cabinet information leaking to the media.
But the Prime Minister assured the DPM that, the information won’t leak saying “it involves the Commerce Minister” who leaks information.
“Khululeka DPM ngeke iphume lena ngoba ifaka lom-leakisi mbamba,”said the Prime Minister.
Efforts to reach Acting Government Spokesperson Thabile Mdluli proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
On another note, the PM previously stated during a Cabinet meeting that, he will reveal the name of the Minister leaking information but during the Whatsap group, he accused Minister Khumalo without supporting evidence.
The Prime Minister stated that the document was very clear that, it was authored by Commerce Minister Mancoba Khumalo.
