Africa-Press – Eswatini. Football in the capital region is set for an exciting new chapter following a substantial E100 000 sponsorship from Make Jane’s Foundation for the Mbabane Regional League.

The investment marks a significant leap forward for grassroots football, with funds allocated to both competitive and developmental categories. A dedicated E15 000 will be channelled into the Under-19 division, nurturing young talent and providing them with the resources to sharpen their skills and gain valuable experience.

The sponsorship also extends its reach to social teams and women’s football. Although the women’s teams are yet to be officially formed, this allocation signals a deliberate step towards inclusivity, ensuring that more players regardless of gender can enjoy structured competition in the region.

Beyond financial support, the package includes brand-new jerseys for all participating teams. This fresh look is expected to foster unity, strengthen team identity, and elevate the overall atmosphere on match days.

With preparations already in motion, anticipation is building for a vibrant season ahead. The league promises not only thrilling competition but also an expanded platform for emerging players, underlining the capital’s growing commitment to developing the sport from the grassroots up.
