“I consider myself very lucky and by the grace of God I’m still alive. You will recall that the regime did everything in its power to apprehend and kill me but all those efforts failed.Instead I would consistently receive news suggesting that, those persecuting me are dying.I remember receiving a call from a health worker informing me that Deputy Commissioner Sam Mthembu was in hospital dying of COVID-19.The health worker said nangu nje angacisha noma nini. It’s been a dramatic five years and I thank God to survive for the past 5 years disseminating news to the public”, he said.
The editor said he will continue to play a role in influencing the public discourse with accurate news to liberate the minds of the people adding that, his wish “is to see a free and democratic eSwatini one day”.
Dlamini said he was not shaken by any threat from the Tinkhundla regime because he knows that,no one can take his life without God’s approval.
“Next year I will be turning forty-two(42) years and in my journey of life, I’ve learned that, the author of life is God. Even if you can face life threatening challenges, those plotting against you, will not succeed with God on your side”, said the editor.
