Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Eswatini Football Association (EFA) through its Technical Director’s Office, has announced the commencement of a new Goalkeeping Intermediate Course aimed at elevating the standard of goalkeeper coaching nationwide. Scheduled to begin on 4 August 2025, this online course targets coaches from regional clubs who already possess the basic goalkeeping certificate.
This initiative forms part of the EFA’s continued commitment to strengthen technical skills among goalkeeper trainers and develop a solid foundation for nurturing talent at grassroots and club levels. By offering this course online the EFA ensures accessible learning opportunities for coaches across Eswatini, facilitating enhanced participation without geographical constraints.
Prospective participants are required to pay a registration fee of E600.00, which must be deposited into the EFA’s Nedbank account. The individual coach’s name must be used as the payment reference to ensure proper tracking. Interested coaches can complete their registration at the EFA Youth Office or by reaching out directly via the contact numbers provided by the association.
The official starting time of the course will be communicated by the assigned instructor in due course, allowing participants to prepare accordingly. The EFA encourages all qualified goalkeeping coaches to seize this opportunity to upgrade their skills and contribute meaningfully to the development of goalkeepers in their respective clubs.
This course stands as a key step in the EFA’s broader technical development strategy showing the importance of specialized coaching education in driving Eswatini football’s competitiveness on regional and international stages. Regional clubs and their coaching staff are urged to take advantage of this vital training to help raise the overall standards of the game.
