Africa-Press – Eswatini. Enjabulweni MTB 2026 Cycling Race has been officially launched, offering a total reward of E26 500, and is set to take place on 9 May 2026.
The event will feature five race categories of 35km, 20km, 10km, 5km and 2km, catering for cyclists of all ages and fitness levels. Organisers said the aim is to promote community participation, fitness and the growth of cycling in Eswatini.
All category winners will be rewarded from the E26 500 total reward, alongside additional incentives such as massage vouchers, chiropractic vouchers, gym memberships and fast food vouchers.
PTA Chairperson Sabelo Mabuza expressed heartfelt appreciation to all sponsors, particularly Buy ‘n Save Spar, for their continued support since 2014, saying their unwavering commitment has helped sustain and grow the event over the years.
Eswatini Cycling Association President William Kelly encouraged Enjabulweni High School to consider introducing cycling into its curriculum. He said this would help nurture young talent while promoting discipline, teamwork and healthy lifestyles among learners.
Registration for the race is already open, with organisers urging cyclists and community members to take part in what is expected to be a vibrant sporting celebration on 9 May 2026.
The Enjabulweni MTB 2026 is expected to strengthen community engagement and further develop cycling in Eswatini.
